weLCOME
I’m Aisling, a certified nutrition & health coach specialising in women’s health and in perimenopause nutrition. I help women reduce symptoms like fatigue, brain fog, weight changes, hormonal imbalances, PMS and mood swings so they can feel more energised and at home in their bodies. I’m here to help you nourish, heal and thrive through food.
I take a whole-body approach to women’s health, examining the root causes of what's going on and work to find long-term, sustainable solutions that leave you feeling informed, supported, and empowered.
Using the healing power of food, I guide you toward nourishing dietary approaches that address your specific symptoms.
We also look at lifestyle: focusing on stress, sleep, exercise and… life… and work to get these back in balance.
By addressing these dietary and lifestyle areas together, my clients move steadily toward feeling healthier, more energised, and more in balance.
MY Story
I’ve always loved food. It’s played an important role in my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up in Ireland, with one parent from a dairy farm and the other working for a large dairy company, as you can imagine, milk and butter were not only always on the kitchen table, they were also regular features of dinner conversation. Food was something to be both debated and enjoyed.
In my 20s, that interest turned into a career. I worked in the food industry across Ireland, Italy, and the UK, spanning meat, dairy, plant-based alternatives and bakery (Gail’s, anyone?). I found it fascinating to see how food is produced, processed and marketed, and how it eventually ends up on our plates. Wanting to understand the bigger picture, I later completed a master’s in Food Policy, where I learned more about the complexity of our food systems and their impact on climate, the environment and human health. Several years of sustainability consulting for food companies followed, further reinforcing something I already felt instinctively: food is powerful and it matters for people’s health, for the planet, and for how we live day to day.
Throughout all of this, though, there was another constant in my life - persistent, often invisible health issues, including chronic fatigue and IBS. For years, I pushed through them, fueling myself with coffee, adrenaline and more than a few boozy nights out. Like many women, I learned to normalise feeling exhausted or uncomfortable and just get on with it.
It wasn’t until pregnancy, maternity leave, and the natural slowing down that came with it that I finally had the time to reassess how I was living, eating and coping. Prioritising my own health led me to train as a Nutrition and Health coach, and to experience first-hand just how powerful food and lifestyle changes can be when they’re approached with patience, flexibility and realism.
Learning to work with my body rather than against it has been really effective. It also shaped how I now work with my clients. I’m not interested in rigid rules, strict diets or perfection. I believe in nourishment, balance and building habits that fit into womens’ real lives, especially during challenging transitions like perimenopause.
Today, I bring together my background in food systems, sustainability and nutrition with lived experience of navigating long-term health challenges. My aim is simple: to help women feel informed, supported and confident in using food and lifestyle as tools to feel better - now, and for the long term.
